註釋How many times have we rehearsed the various worries, temptations, and anxieties we face throughout the day? All of the worrying never achieves much, other than give us a longer list the next day of possible things to worry about. How exhausting! Even worse, we take our experiences from throughout the day and we take them with us to our quiet space. In contrast to merely regurgitating circumstances that are filled with doubt, fear, and unbelief, we can choose consciously to set aside time each day, in quiet meditation, at the same place and time, to agree with God instead of our circumstance. On one hand, Satan wants to plant thoughts of defeatism. On the other hand, God wants us to know and claim the victory that is predestined on our behalf and written inside of the Word of God. We must decide whose report we will believe. Furthermore, this Christian journey is about renewing our carnal minds and sinful natures with the Living Word of God. Here is the place where we consciously align our will with God's will. We choose to lay aside our burdens and all the daily weights we carry, to pick up a load so light, by casting our care before the throne and trading God's thoughts for our very own. Agreeing with God must be done on purpose, in purpose, and by His purpose. God is pursuing His people. Literally, He is chasing after you and whispering future into your thoughts and into your hearts. Do not let it fall to the ground. Harvest it. Harvest a garden of faith on purpose and watch the results manifest in your life! Plant seeds of faith by the words which proceed from your mouth. Proverbs 18:21 instructs us about the power of life and death that lie in the tongue. The Spirit of the Lord is urging us on, to speak life!
