註釋Rev. Thomas Hooker, son of Thomas Hooker, was born in England about 1586. He entered Emanuel College, Cambridge, in 1604 and graduated with an M.A. in 1611. He fled to Holland for relgious reasons and immigrated to New England in 1633. The name of his first wife is unknown; they had two daughters. His second wife, Susanna, survived him. They had two daughters and two sons. He died at Hartford, Connecticut, 7 July 1647, age 61. Descendants lived in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, Vermont and elsewhere.
