Mary E. Smith Papers
註釋A The Mary E. Smith papers are comprised of correspondence between Mrs. Smith and two politicians from the early 1900s. There is one letter, dated October 8, 1932, addressed to Mrs. Smith from President Franklin D. Roosevelt that commends her for her help and support during his presidential campaign. Another part of this collection is the holiday/greeting cards dated from between 1925 and 1931, to Mary Smith from Gifford Pinchot and his family. Included in one of the holiday cards is a photograph of his son, Gifford Bryce Pinchot. There is one letter from Gifford Pinchot dated January 31, 1933, in which Pinchot writes about the new road that he helped to commission in Franklin Township, PA.
