Sociology of Knowledge Approach to Discourse
註釋The sociology of knowledge approach to discourse (SKAD) has been established in Germany since the late 1990s. Its core focus is on social relations of knowledge and meaning making, and the politics of knowledge, knowing, and meaning making in and between societies, including all levels of societal organization. SKAD integrates insights from interpretive sociology and poststructural Foucauldian work. It provides researchers interested in the discursive construction of reality with theoretical grounding, conceptual tools, proposals for research design, and methods. This entry describes basic rationales for SKAD, its concepts, and methodology. It ends with a short reflection on future issues in SKAD research.
