註釋The earliest documented record shows Thomas Field buying land in 1661 in Henrico County, Virginia. He was married perhaps two times and had at least 3 or 4 children. Thomas died prior to 1679. Descendants lived in Virginia, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and elsewhere.
