Letters issued by the Archbishops of Prague to their diocesan clergy, 1706-1749
註釋Collection of 71 printed documents of various lengths (2-14 pages) issued between 26 March 1706 and 20 March 1749, 70 of which are letters (some in multiple copies) to the clergy of the Archdiocese of Prague, 62 by the reigning Archbishop -- Jan Josef Breuner (1695-1710), Franz Ferdinand von Kuenburg (1711-1731), Daniel Joseph Mayer von Mayern (1732-1733), and Johann von Manderscheid-Blankenheim (1733-1763) -- and 8 under the authority of the vicar general and consistory while the see was vacant. The remaining document was issued in Vienna by the apostolic nuncio Camillo Paolucci (and printed there Johann Peter van Ghelen), containing a brief of Pope Benedict XIV and a charge to Anton Wokaun of the Archdiocese of Prague. Most of the documents are decorated with a woodcut initial; two also have woodcut vignettes. Most have early ms. annotations and autograph or printed signatures of the archdiocese's vicar general and/or chancellor. All are bound together in a volume measuring 36 cm. in height.
