Robert Craig (1774-1821) was born in Ireland. In about 1800 he married Catherine Johnston and they were the parents of nine children. In 1805 Robert, Catherine and their three children sailed to America. They settled in Washington County, Pennsylvania where Robert died in 1821. In 1823 Catherine and her family moved to Ohio. Descendants settled in Ohio, Iowa and Missouri as well as other parts of the United States.
