Developmental Psychology in India 1975-1986
註釋A recent area of study in India, developmental psychology has had to resolve both conceptual and methodological problems. There has been a tendency to use inappropriate western paradigms, largely because it was thought that there was a paucity of Indian materials relating to the development and psychology of Indian children. This bibliography not only dispels this notion but serves as a major sourcebook for all those involved in developmental psychology in India. The last decade has shown that research and theory-building has considerably widened in scope -- in particular, there has been an encouraging trend of responding to social issues and thus providing pointers to ways of tapping the environmental potential to improve the quality of life.
