註釋Charles Strong's career as an artist in the Bay Area has spanned four decades. He began as an Abstract Expressionist painter but has explored other media, including, most recently, figuration and monumental sculpture. He has played an active role in the Bay Area as a teacher and mentor and director of the Wiegand Gallery at the College of Notre Dame. With work from 1961 to the late 1990s, this book is the first comprehensive look at his impressive career.
