Women on the Breadlines
註釋Nonfiction. Women's Studies. In these short journalistic pieces, Meridel Le Sueur recorded the struggle of poor women during the Depression in Minnesota. She acted not as a detached observer, but a co-participant in the women's misery and a fighter for their survival. This small pamphlet sold over 10,000 copies in its first decade of publication in the 1970s.
