A STUDY ON THE HEALTH STATUS OF MULTI DRUG RESISTANT (MDR) TUBERCULOSIS PATIENTS
註釋Tuberculosis (TB) is caused by bacteria called Mycobacterium tuberculosis which mainly affects the lungs of the person. In many circumstances tuberculosis is curable and preventable. Tuberculosis bacteria spread through air from one person to another. When a person with lung TB cough, sneeze or spits, he propels the TB germs into the air and a person just needs to inhale some of these germs to get infected.(World health organisation fact sheet, Oct 2015)According to the World Health Organisation (WHO) one-third of the world's population has latent TB, which means people have been infected by TB bacteria but are not (yet) ill with disease and cannot transmit the disease.
