Sixteen record books/diaries comprising four small commercial pocket diaries for the years 1933, 1939, 1941 & 1942, eleven exercise books for the years 1908, 1910, 1911, 1913, 1915, 1919, 1925, 1928, 1929, 1939-40, 1945, and one large Woods' Australian Diary for the year 1946. The diaries of Charles Byrne of Boatharbour and later of Nobby's Creek, Tweed River, and of his second son, John Geoff Byrne. The eleven exercise books and the Woods' Australian Diary relate to Charles Byrne. The four small diaries relate to John Geoff Byrne. The collection also includes a spiral-bound (50 page) book titled: 'Boatharbour Farm', detailing the family's time at the Tweed Valley area in northern New South Wales.
