The volume, which is written in several different hands, records the names of individuals and companies associated with outbound freight the ship carried, including George Washington, whose name is listed under a March 1796 voyage. There are also records of the freight the Tryal carried back to Philadelphia, including hops, flour, herring, and iron ore.
