Holden embarks on new adventures as he returns to the enchanted city of Pearelious. After slaying Lacadia's tyrant queen and returning the peoples hope for a better future, Holden finds himself responsible for questions he doesn't have the answers too as he and his Royal Council seek to rebuild the world in a new image.

Traveling unexplored places and learning new magic may seem like all fun and games until unexpected tragedy strikes Holden where it hurts. He must rely on new friends and follow an old, mythical legend in hopes to save the ones he loves. While dealing with the threat at hand, he must also continue to ask himself who can really be trusted and where is the true evil that lies within this world that Freya and his father had kept warning him about.

At the end of the day, his sacrifice is what might just save them all.
