註釋Chiefly, a record of 15 generations of descendants of William Collins who came to Virginia on May 15, 1635 at the age of 23. He married Ann Wilds. They had a least one son, John. On October 20, 1691, William Collins and Timothy Coniers received a Colonial Land Grant for 620 acres. John Collins married Eleanor Oliver who was the daughter of John Oliver. John and Eleanor had five children. Descendants lived in Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Kentucky, Alabama and elsewhere.
