註釋Hypothesis - Lenzerheide made bigger investments in infrastructure compared to other Swiss resorts of the same size - The consumption of water for snow production has increased by 20% due to warmer temperatures - Snow production in a snow factory is more environmentally friendly and more efficient than the conventional man-made snow production - Decrease of tourists of the Euro-countries by 20% due to the high valuation of the Swiss franc - Second home initiative: a lot of cold beds have become warm beds due to rental services - Due to the second home initiative the prices for buying a holiday house/flat have increased by 10% Results In my paper different effects on winter tourism in Lenzerheide are characterized and analyzed. In the past centuries the resort of Lenzerheide has made big investments and has developed strongly. The number of inhabitants and guests rose quickly. However, the location was inferior to current factors. The consequences of the climate change are not that heavy as previously assumed. Due to the artificial snow production lack of snow cover could be compensated last years and additionally the usage of a snow factory was a big step for the future. At last the high valuation of the Swiss franc has had a direct influence on the number of visitors in Lenzerheide and the effects of the Second home initiative are not determinable at this time. Eventually interviews were conducted to interpret these results.
