註釋"In 2005, the protracted land dispute between the people of Igbekuriko and Olachor in Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State escalated and tension heightened following the destruction of Economic Trees belonging to an indigene of Olachor, Mr John Oloko, by the Igbekurikor people. These Economic Trees were planted at a place called Achonere. Arising from that development, the Cross River State Government on the 4th of September, 2006 constituted a Mediation Committee to mediate in the matter and facilitate communication between the parties involved in the dispute so as to ensure permanent restoration of peace and confidence amongst the people."--Page 3.
