註釋The importance of Idea Management Systems (IMS) as a resource and research tool for doing social and technological research has grown over the last decade. IMS data has become an increasingly attractive resource for researchers that research ideas, creativity, and opinion pooling, but the question remains: What exactly we can do with these systems in research? This case study focuses on the question: Do web-based IMS "kill" creativity? In this research, creativity is related to the idea generation results--idea quantity and idea quality. The goal of the "IDEA MANAGEMENT" research project was to research how web-based idea management systems relate to creative outputs by using a triangulation approach. This involved a survey of enterprises and businesses that apply IMS, IMS database analysis, and in-person and web-based idea management (IM) session simulations. The method/approach of this research focuses on idea management database research, data collection, data analysis, and a case study.
