註釋John Randolph was born in 1773 in Prince George County, Virginia, the son of John and Frances Bland Randolph and a descendant of Pocahontas and John Rolfe. Active in politics, he served several terms in the United States Congress. He was a member of the Virginia Constitutiona Convention in 1829. He died in 1833 at Philadelphia.
