Unraveling the Complex Interdependencies of SDG Targets in the CSI Nexus Through Network Analysis and Visualization
註釋This study employs network analysis and visualization to investigate the interdependencies of 169 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) targets in the Climate Change, Sustainable Forest Management, and Information and Communication Technology (CSI) nexus. The objectives are to (1) analyze SDG target interactions, (2) identify the most influential targets within CSI clusters, and (3) visualize target interdependencies. Various centrality measures, k-core, clustering coefficient, node-link diagrams, and matrix plots are used to create a CSI Nexus Interdependencies Framework. Results show the top 20% of crucial targets within CSI clusters, and 50% are trade-offs. The lack of direct connections between Sustainable Forest Management and Information and Communication Technology highlights a missed opportunity, necessitating greater attention to the role of technology in sustainable development decision-making and policy. Understanding these interdependencies can inform the development of science-informed interventions to address multiple SDGs simultaneously and achieve the 2030 global agenda.
