Lessons from Other Times
註釋This document addresses why infrastructure seemed much more affordable in the 1940s, 50s, and 60s, when objectively Canada was much poorer than today. It presents tables showing Ontario Government expenditures in 1950 and 1990; Ontario Government capital investment, 1961-1989; debt, debt per capita, and debt charges: Metropolitan Toronto municipalities and school boards; and spending per person on automobiles and transit within the area of Metropolitan Toronto, 1950 and 1990.
