註釋Roger Doubleday (ca. 1640-1690) was probably born in England. He married Ann duckett in 1660 in London. They immigrated to the United States sometime before 1672 and settled in Massachusetts. They had six children. Their son, Elisha (1672-ca. 1715) was born in Boston. He married Mary Woodhead ca. 1690. They settled in Charlestown, Massachusetts and had ten children. Roger and Ann's son, Elijah Doubleday (b. 1677) was born in Boston and married Sarah Paine in 1697. They had at least five children. Descendants live throughout the United States.
