The Apostle Paul’s first two epistles (as they appear in the Bible) are perhaps his strongest and most instructive letters. He first wrote to the church in Rome from the city of Corinth. Corinth is the recipient of his second and third epistles. These letters provide the best description in the Bible of how to be saved, the whole body of redemption truth. Salvation is available to the entire world, a gift from God enabled through His grace by way of the atoning work of His righteous Son. Paul was troubled by the unspiritual and immoral condition of the Corinthian church, and writes to teach us how to live. Knowledge and understanding of these epistles can teach one how to be saved– destined for Heaven. Also how one should live, and a revelation of the resurrection and eternal destination of the body. The author’s commentary is intended to clarify this mention within a condensed version of God’s Word.
