A collection of family group records of the male lines of descent from Solomon Goewey born in 1758 in Lansingburgh (near Troy), N. Y. and died in 1793 in Arlington, Vermont. He married Prudence Hawley (ca. 1763 - ca. 1832) in about 1781. She was the daughter of Abel and Bethia(h) Curtis Hawley. Prudence Hawley died in Arlington, Vermont. Descendants lived in Iowa, Colorado, Ohio, Vermont, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Wisconsin, California, Oregon and elsewhere.
