註釋
This report explores the extent and nature of household mobility for young children in New Zealand. It draws on findings from Growing Up in New Zealand, a longitudinal study following the growth and development of 7000 children in New Zealand, from conception onwards, and identifies the familial, household and neighbourhood factors that are associated with residential mobility. Later on, the study will help identify what precipitates mobility as the children grow up. This report provides information on: the study methodology and sample, frequency of moving and distance moved, and characteristics associated with residential mobility - between birth and nine months of age and between nine months and two years of age. Residential mobility has implications for entitlements and service delivery - and the report also provides a brief case study example on how residential mobility may influence health service engagement with different health districts.
