This is personal history of Ian McLeod.

The long life of Ian McLeod is a thread connecting us to a broad body of knowledge of his times and family history. This matters to his immediate family, for their own sake and because of a responsibility to pass on some of the story to their descendants.

Ian's story can also be a foundation for a wider McLeod chronicle. The window opens first on Ian's grandfather, Angus McLeod, sailing from Scotland to Australia in the mid-19th century with his wife Mary and their baby, Archibald.
