Internal Medicine Pearls
註釋The first edition of Internal Medicine Pearls (1993) has been one of the most widely used
case-oriented medical books in the field of general internal medicine. It has been
featured on the American College of PhysiciansAmerican Society of Internal
Medicine web site, and has been reviewed in the Annals of Internal Medicine.
This new 2nd edition includes 100 brand new cases covering the diagnosis and management of interesting and challenging problems in general internal medicine. Each patient's case is followed by the physical examination and initial diagnostic impression which prompts the reader to derive his/her own preliminary diagnosis and plan for treatment . Laboratory findings are then given along with a detailed discussion of how the patient was diagnosed and the follow-up results.
