Deposition of J.W. King, 1838 Nov. 27, Haywood County, N[orth]C[arolina].
註釋This document is a deposition written on November 27, 1838, on the information given by J.W. King. G.W. Hayes, Justice of the Peace for Haywood County, North Carolina took the deposition. The deposition discussed the clothing, provisions, and money that William Holland Thomas provided the Cherokees. King was a clerk in William Thomas' store and witnessed Thomas giving these supplies to the Cherokees. The deposition was witnessed and notarized by Robert Love and James Graham, both of which stated their belief in the credibility of King's character.
