A Primer for the Mathematics, Valuation, Accounting & Hedging of Bond Instruments
註釋The bond market is one of the largest sources of capital available to private organizations and sovereign entities to raise capital to finance their activities. Despite the humongous size of the bond market and the critical role that bond instruments play in the international financial system, only a handful of market practitioners and policy-makers understand the inner workings of bond instruments and the bond market. This paper aims to bridge the knowledge gap in the marketplace by using a through-the-cycle approach to discuss the mathematics, valuation, accounting and hedging of bond securities.
