The Apostles Creed affirms the major points of the Christian Faith, and through its distribution, the early church fathers established the definitive Christian doctrines that were believed by and practiced within the church. Summarizing the Apostles' teachings, the Apostles' Creed also professes what Christians believe about the persons and work of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
