Dealing with Multilingualism in Education
註釋In 2002, almost 3 million people of the population of 16 million in the Netherlands had at least one parent born outside the country. This cultural diversity manifests itself in the pupil population of the primary schools. Within this context, teachers are challenged to address the linguistic heterogeneity among their pupils. This study gives insight into the actual practices of dealing with language from both sociolinguistic and language teaching perspectives.
