註釋This book provides an overview of the human body as a living and dynamic creature. Discover what occurs when diseases disrupt the regular activities of the body and observe how the body tries to go back to a state of equilibrium and health. This book explores the basic structure of the human body and explains how it works to maintain a feeling of balance and a state of good health for the individual. In addition to this, it presents fundamental concepts in a manner that is not difficult to grasp. The book has an emphasis on anatomy and physiology and presents information that is both straightforward and condensed about these topics. It focuses on how the organs, tissues, and systems of the body work together to carry out processes including learning, managing blood pressure, learning how to respond to stress, or maintaining the temperature of the body. Anatomy is the study of the internal and exterior parts of the body as well as their physical interactions, while physiology is the study of how those structures work. Anatomy and physiology are two different branches of the same academic discipline. The axial and appendicular regions are the two primary sections that make up a human body. The head, neck, thorax, abdomen, & pelvis make up what is known as the axial portion of the body, while the upper and lower extremities make up what is known as the appendicular part. Shoulders, upper arms, forearms, wrists, & hands are all considered to be part of the upper extremities, while the hips, thighs, lower legs, ankles, & feet are all considered to be part of the lower extremities
