Surfing Ecstasy. English Translation
註釋Surfing Ecstasy - Éxtasis superficieando - is the poetical vision of surf practice, inspired in religious aesthetics of Renaissance mystic poetry. Long waiting hours and training on a surf board till the surge of the dream wave for the perfect aerial, led to follow the steps towards an union with the divinity, re-encountered in the forces of nature, following which is reached the state of continuous satisfaction -stoke vs. ecstasy.- With a distinctive outline of religious poetry: psalms, requests, offerings and gratitude poems combined with short narrative texts, the author meets its own-lyric voice with a choral declamation of young surfer voices, that renew the mystic symbols with a language based on least elements: sun, waves and foam. "Truly we are willing to resist cold so that this fascination of salt and sea froth has no end.", claims the poetical voice of this book. "Because we are not going to fly, we are not going to swim, we are going to surf ".
