Howard McIlveen, CAPPE certified chaplain specializing in hospital ministry, is the Pastoral Care Coordinator of Vancouver's Richmond Hospital. Howard has been involved with the cognitively impaired elderly since 1991, working in an inner-city mission and as a congregational minister. He received his B.A. from Queen's University, Kingston, and his M.Div. from Knox Presbyterian College, Toronto. Howard is the co-author of Full Circle, Spiritual Therapy for the Elderly.Esther McIlveen has worked as a mentor in an inner-city mission and in several congregations. Writing became a passion while at the University of Alberta. Along with teaching Creative Writing, Esther has been writing for newspapers for the past eight years. Currently, she writes a column, "Here's Life," with Richmond News. She is co-founder of the Good Shepherd Drop-In Center, the author of a children's book, Cotton Candy Chatterbox, and co-author of Time Echoes Softly.
