An information sheet and petition demanding the release of Black Panther Eldridge Cleaver. Following a shootout between the Panthers and the Oakland police, in which Cleaver was wounded and Panther Bobby Hutton was killed, the International Committee to Release Eldridge Cleaver began a petition drive. The recto includes information on Cleaver's legal status and the verso includes a blank petition addressed to Ronald Reagan, Governor of California, and other authorities referencing Cleaver's political prisoner status and demanding his release.
