The document states that Michael Elliott agrees with Robert Livingston to do all such work in the carpenter & wheel wright trade, as shall be required of him at the forge at Maryburgh on the Manor of Livingston. Elliott also agrees to let his sons work on the forge, and to board freemen or slaves when asked. Also signed and sealed by Robert Livingston.
