The messenger is a fiction story inspired by true events. All names were changed to protect the innocent. The story is about a boy that was chosen by God at a young age to deliver a message to the world. God said, "James Martin I need you. I know your only 5 years old but you are a special boy. I need you to deliver a message to the world for me. I would like it in the form of a book. I will send angels to look after you until you can complete your book with my message in it." As a young boy James was afraid of his encounter with God and blocks it out telling no one God had spoken to him at first. As he grows up, already coming from an abusive home, James endures many hardships and injuries while growing up. After many encounters and requests from God, James ignored him until God finally had enough. God struck him with an illness and told James, "Now that I have your attention, I will heal you if you write the book! No more fooling around!" James apologized and agreed. All healed up and at the age of 45 James encounters another visit from God to remind him of his calling and inform him of his message. God said, "My angels have done a good job looking after you. You are well now. I think you put them to the test a few times to many. This message is important to me James; this is why I spared your life. You and you alone are the messenger, the last prophet. You will deliver these words to all mankind in the form of a book so no man, women or child will ever forget. It's time man and women learn from there sins. Repair what I have created and prepare for the future. The date has been set. Our children are at risk and it's time to correct the issue." James said, "God, I am sorry for ignoring you all of these years. I had to overcome so many obstacles in life. Love is blind. I was confused and afraid and not sure where to start. I think I know where to start now and I will get on it immediately!" God said, "Thank you James, do the best you can to deliver my words. I look
