"Veneto villas" are not just any residence in the Veneto. These villas require specific characteristics of the site of the structure, the residents, usage and the period in which they were built. Specific republics in the 15th century and their patricians or nobles never used as habitual residences for families, but as an escape from the pace of "city life" and commune with the land or ones spirit.Currently 3,477 Veneto villas are officially registered. While only a small number can be presented in this book, general and broad scope of these special "homes" is covered in the text.
