註釋Hi, my name is Ian Buchanan, but those that are close to me, know me as Buck and this is my book, Coal Face​ I started mining back home in New Zealand in 1973 in the Strongman I Mine. I'm a 3rd generation underground coal miner now living in tropical North Queensland working in the Bowen Basin. My book is a collection of humorous stories and a tribute to my mentors from my early mining days. I wanted to shed some light on the camaraderie and friendships formed beneath the strata. A huge thanks to my good friend, Paul McBride for helping me put my words to paper and making my book come to life.
