Annotation See preceding entry for v.10. Volume 11 begins with Walter Benjamin (1892-1940) and ends with Yuri Olesha (1899-1960). Among the other writers covered are Tsvetaeva, Mayakovsky, Celine, Babel, Montherlant, Breton, Montale, Lampedusa, Aragon, Brecht, and Lorca. Note: Sheehy (1986) indicated that this series was to run to only eleven volumes; let's hope that he was mistaken, or that the publishers have reconsidered.
