Eats Haddonfield
註釋"EATS Haddonfield" is a tour of the food history and food heritage sites of one of America's most distinctive small towns. Haddonfield, New Jersey, with a population never greater than 11,000 people, is less than a dozen miles east of Philadelphia. It is one of the few places in the United States founded by a woman. Haddonfield native Tom Hughes is the co-founder, with his wife, Meredith Sayles Hughes, of The Food Museum and its Global Food Heritage Project. Having co-authored a book about the food history of France, Tom realized that while he was very familiar with the food heritage sites of that entire country he knew little about his own hometown's culinary story and the fascinating people who have at one time or another lived there. Beginning with an overview of the town's farming history and culinary traditions, an hour walking tour includes the stories of over three dozen people and places. The book is part of a planned series of food heritage tours.
