The book includes more than 1500 color images (mostly published for the first time) and represents the largest illustrated record of Brazilian art and history published in Brazil in one volume, highlighting unique pieces such as: the first Brazilian work by artist Albert Eckhout; the largest panoramic view of Rio de Janeiro in the 19th century (6 meters); one copy in excellent condition of the first hand-illuminated encyclopedia of the flora and fauna of Brazil; the complete collection of the modernist journal "Klaxon, among other pieces. . Further plans include the complete digitalization of the collection.
