註釋The stories in this book are the actual stories Grandma Baker wrote to her granddaughter Roxana in 1970. Grandma, Grandpa, and Roxie, together with a wildcat they named Cycle Kitty, ride through many adventures on their motorcycles. Along the way to New Mexico, they encounter one disaster after another, but with Roxie's ingenuity, they are always able to solve whatever disasters they encounter. Their adventures include escaping wolves in Alaska after taking a wrong turn, having their money stolen, racing their motorcycles in a carnival, and riding through a forest fire where they rescue a wildcat. Many more adventures ensue with their new Cycle Kitty wildcat that rides in a basket on Roxie's motorcycle. Through her wonderful skill as a storyteller, a grandmother teaches that life's difficulties are not insurmountable, as each challenge is overcome not only with her granddaughter's intelligence and courage, but also with her compassion.
