Hexagonal Topology-Based Fault-Tolerant Wireless Sensor Networks for Energy-Efficient Obstacle Detection in Iot
註釋This research paper presents a novel approach for fault-tolerant Wireless Sensor Networks (FT-WSNs) designed for IoT applications. The approach addresses obstacle detection challenges in WSNs to ensure uninterrupted network operation and optimize energy consumption. A hexagonal topology formation technique is proposed, offering inherent fault tolerance and energy efficiency. Extensive simulations evaluate the model, considering energy consumption, network lifetime, and optimal data routing. Results demonstrate the effectiveness of the approach in detecting obstacles and achieving energy-efficient operation in FT-WSNs for IoT. This research contributes to the development of fault-tolerant WSNs tailored for IoT, opening avenues for further exploration in the field.
