Brave the Day
註釋This book is the compilation of Marilyn Hartness' personal journals as she battled the aggressive B Cell Non Hodgkins Mantle Cell Lymphoma, which is a blood cancer. This book was written to give hope to everyone stricken with a cancer diagnosis. It discusses the necessity for the patient to remain pro active with personal dietary selections; keeping an active prayer life; relying on friends and family for help and support; maintaining a steady exercise program; being optimistic about the future; planning special future activities; trusting the medical team which is giving the chemotherapy; engaging in art projects and letting the art be a statement about getting well; and making sure that animals (especially house pets) are included in the nurturing every day. All of this is discussed in the book, Brave the Day. Marilyn's courage will resonate with everyone who has overcome a life-threatening illness. Her optimism was strengthened with much support from family, friends, and medical personnel as she struggled with lymphoma. This is an inspiring book for being strong in all circumstances.
