George called Mary Ann, while boarding a plane, and she began to complain of stroke-like symptoms. He was in a state of confusion and several states away. When he landed, his son informed him that Mary Ann had been the victim of a stroke. It seemed like an open-and-shut illness, but it was just the beginning with their long struggle with pancreatic cancer. Losing You is a story of loss and pain, but also of the love that a family and a community can find in their deepest depths of pain.
