註釋In this particular paper, an attempt has been made to show the competitive behaviour of small capital retailers and large capital retailers theoretically (including single brand and multi-brand both domestic and/or foreign). The objective of this paper is to search the real behaviour of market participants (viz. retailers, consumers) and to examine the reasons behind coexistence of small capital retailers and large capital retailers. In other words, it tries to search the possible avenues through which small capital retailers can stay in the market with their own competitive strength side by side the large capital retailers.
