A strong educational program is important to train church members in the Word of God. Biblical education does not stop at learning Bible stories. It promotes Christian maturity in the believer. It advances moral standards in one's life. It trains disciples to follow in the footsteps of Christ. The last part of the Great Commission to His church states, "...teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you..." (Matt. 28:20) The church is commanded by the Lord to disciple his followers in the Word of God. Our goal should be to train up every church member in the whole counsel of God.
