Report of the Commissioner of the Environment and Sustainable Development to the House of Commons
註釋The Commissioner looked at five agreements and found that departments do not have adequate information for determining their success in meeting agreement objectives in three of them. The audit looked at five international environmental agreements on marine pollution, wetlands conservation, fish stocks, ozone depletion and air quality: the Convention for the Prevention of Marine Pollution from Ships (MARPOL), the Convention on Wetlands of International Importance especially Waterfowl Habitat (RAMSAR), the United Nations Fish Stocks Agreement (UNFA), the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer, and the Ozone Annex to the Canada-U.S. Agreement on Air Quality.
