The year 1984 marks the tenth anniversary of the founding of the Oriental Ceramic Society of Hong Kong, and so it is appropriate that this occasion should be clebrated by the holding of this, our fifth, exhibition, which is also the second to be presented in conjunction with the Fung Ping Shan Museum of the University of Hong Kong. The theme of the exhibition, perhaps the most ambitious we have chosen to date, is the evolution of Jingdezhen wares during the Yuan Dynasty.--Preface.
